How long does a permit stay active for?

All users of the APCOA portal will have a permit for 3 years. Users will however have to upload their document again within this period to verify identify.

I have multiple cars in my household, how do I get around this?

This portal is self-serve, so it is ultimate responsibility of the user to update their active vehicle for that day. We advise 20 minutes to allow the registration to be sent to the system.

How do I change my active vehicle?

  • Click on ‘Add Vehicle and complete all details of your vehicle in the POP Up
  • Click ‘Add Vehicle’ when all field completed.

You can add multiple vehicles but only 1 can be active per day. A change in selected vehicle can take 20 minutes to update on the system.

My partner works for another business entity (third-party) and we share car’s how do we get around this?

All third-party staff should be using the staff car park located on Argyll Close. Each individual should have a permit, and access will still allow for both areas. Please contact the Commercial Coordinator or Travel Services Manager for further guidance on this.

Why do I have to share my airport ID pass?

We use this as an authentication process to ensure you are who you say and that there is no abuse of the conditions of use.

How do I renew my permit?

To renew your permit for the staff car park please follow the instructions below

  • Wait until the vehicle is out with the car park, before following instructions below, to prevent any issues accessing/egressing car park
  • Log in to your account
  • Cancel existing pass.
  • Use "apply for new staff permit"
  • Apply for permit - note these are now valid for three years not one

This procedure can be carried out any time, ensure you do this BEFORE the pass expires. You will experience issues if you leave your pass to expire. Reminders are sent before your pass expires, it is the responsibility of the user to ensure it is done.

Does this effect my holiday parking?

No, you can still go on holiday for as long as you want. Ensure that your car you will use is active in the portal before you arrive.
