Terms And Conditions
Aberdeen International Airport Limited (AIAL) Staff Car Park Terms and Conditions.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
1. Car parking is priced per annum and charged monthly. Charges are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT at the prevailing rate. All charges are shown within the AIAL Sundry Charges, a copy of the current Sundry Charges is available on request.
2. By entering this Car Park, you agree to the following terms:
a) your vehicle is in a road worthy condition, insured, taxed and MOT’d (if applicable).
b) you must comply with all signs and markings in the Car Park.
c) you must park fully within the limits of a marked bay and do not straddle bays or cause any obstruction.
d) you do not park within a bay designated for a specific purpose when you are not entitled to do so, for example and without limitation:
i) parking in a space designated for disabled badge holders.
ii) parking in a space for electric vehicles when you are not using the charging facility.
3. When you have parked your vehicle, it is your responsibility to:
a) lock your vehicle securely;
b) fully close all windows of your vehicle;
c) apply your handbrake correctly;
d) engage any steering lock, alarm, or immobiliser fitted.
4. Any possessions left in a vehicle are left entirely at the owner’s risk. We suggest no items are left so that they are visible from the outside of the vehicle. Do not leave any animals in your vehicle.
5. Aberdeen International Airport Ltd does not accept liability for:
(a) damage to your vehicle (whether caused accidentally or by way of vandalism).
(b) theft of, or from, your vehicle, while the vehicle is in the car park, unless such damage or theft is caused by the negligence of the Airport or its agents or employees, and then only to the extent that the Airport’s negligence has caused or contributed to the relevant damage or theft.
(c) while the Airport uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the car park is secure, AIAL does not guarantee that they are a secure environment.
6. We reserve the right to move vehicles within the Car Park using whatever method we consider appropriate (even if, consequently, damage is caused to your vehicle) to the extent that is reasonably necessary for the purposes of safety to persons or property, or to avoid obstruction of the Car Park.
